Baruch, with the Letter of Jeremiah
Deuterocanon · 3 sections · scripture: World English Bible
Baruch claims to be a book written by Baruch son of Neriah, Jeremiah's friend and scribe, the man who wrote Jeremiah's scroll at his dictation and read it aloud in the temple. It is set in Babylon, among the exiles, in "the fifth year," apparently after the fall of Jerusalem. It has three parts, and they sound like three different writers.
