Esther (Greek)

Deuterocanon · 5 sections · scripture: World English Bible

With the Song of Songs (save perhaps one flicker at 8:6), the Hebrew Esther is the only book of scripture in which God is never named. No prayer is recorded, no miracle happens, and deliverance comes, as Mordecai says, from another place. The Greek Esther is the same story with God put back in.
