Joshua
Old Testament · 17 sections · scripture: Berean Standard Bible
With Joshua we cross the river. For four books we have been waiting — through the wilderness, the law, the long farewell on the plains of Moab — and now, at last, the people enter the land. Joshua is the book of arrival; it is also, by a wide margin, the most morally difficult book we have yet met, and the two facts are not separable. I will not try to separate them.
