Ruth

Old Testament · 4 sections · scripture: Berean Standard Bible

After the long darkness of Judges, Ruth arrives like a window thrown open. It is set "in the days when the judges ruled" — the very era we have just spent twenty-one chapters watching collapse into civil war, atrocity, and a nation with no shared center — and yet this short story unfolds in an entirely different key: quiet, tender, ordinary, almost domestic.
